To all our backers, surveys have been send out to the email address associated with your Rap Godz pledge. This will need to be completed so that we can fulfill your order. Please get this information to us as soon as you can. The sooner we can get this information the better we will be able to manage the next steps in the process to getting Rap Godz printed and shipped!

Since we reached our first stretch goal, we will be creating 3 community created rapper cards that will be added to the game! In the backer survey you can let us know if you want to participate in this event and we will send you more information about the contest in the near future. We're excited to see what you all come up with :)
For anyone who missed out on the Kickstarter campaign for Rap Godz, this is your opportunity to secure the Kickstarter Edition which will only be available for a limited time. We also added a few new items to the store that can be purchased by both backers and new pre-orders. You can add-on Rap Godz and BGB Logo T-Shirts, a Rap Godz Paracord bracelet...or the last chance to ADD YOURSELF as a rapper in the game. If you know someone who would love this game make sure you let them know there's still time to get Rap Godz before anyone else.

We also wanna provide a little insight on the process as we move through it. So far we're in the process of solidifying a contract with the manufacturer that will be producing the game. It's just the first step but it's an exciting one that really means Rap Godz is real! There's also a lot of art that still needs to be finalized, but that's going to be an ongoing process right up until the time we go to manufacture.

Board Game Brothas took a little break from Rap Godz to reenergize and prepare for the marathon of game manufacturing. We also got to flex our game creating muscles and spent some time messing around with a few ideas for our next game!!!
Our plan, from now until Rap Godz is released, is to provide an update every two weeks to all of our backers. It's important to us that we keep in contact with everyone who supported us up to this point. We'll be working hard to create the game that we dreamed up almost two years ago and we would love for you to stay informed throughout the process.
On October 15, all of our backers will be receiving a link to complete a survey to provide information related to your order. This will include your contact info and mailing address so we can make sure we get your copy of Rap Godz to you. We will also be asking questions related to any extra rewards that you selected as a part of your pledge. Now that the game is funded and will move forward to manufacturing, we will also be opening up a site for pre-orders for anyone who did not get a chance to participate in the Kickstarter.
Last thing we wanted to let you know is that there are more opportunites for you to try out Rap Godz before it is released. So far these are the events where you can find us:
I had a wonderful time this past weekend at Board Game Day in Knoxville. An event that was put together by fellow game designer Connor C. Cole. Many thanks to him for putting together a really cool event and bringing together designers from nearby to come and demo their games!
Rap Godz is now going to move to the next step towards becoming a published board game, brought to you by Board Game Brothas!!!
We were able to raise over $26,000 and we have 390 amazing backers to thank for that! Many of you decided to take a chance on something new and different. Many of you supported our vision and supported bringing more diverse games to the industry. May of you played Rap Godz and fell in love with the art, mechanics, or story and decided you needed it in your collection. Whatever your reason, THANK YOU!
It's been a long hard road building up to today. Hamu and I will be celebrating and then probably taking a week off to recover and prepare for the next steps. So don't be alarmed if you don't hear from us immediately, we'll be back soon with more information about the process from now until Rap Godz reaches your doorstep.

We've already unlocked our first Stretch Goal, which means now ALL OF OUR BACKERS, FANS, AND FOLLOWERS get to participate in a contest to CREATE THREE MORE RAPPERS that will go into Rap Godz! That's really just a big thanks to everyone who has been on team Rap Godz for the last year. #MakeARapGod
That being said, we want to make Rap Godz the best game it can be, so if you can help us get to $30,000 we will be able to UPGRADE some of the components in the game to be even better! We have three great ideas for upgrades that came from YOUR FEEDBACK. I hope we can make it!
