We've put in so much work this past year and for the last 28 days we've reached out to as many people as we can to tell them about Rap Godz. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU to everyone who has been sharing our social media posts. I've seen lots of backers names that I don't recognize, which means you are all a part of making this happen.
We're counting down the hours and now we only need about $4000 to reach our goal. Here's a few things that we're planning:

New Rapper Cards - We are excited to have 4 new rapper cards in the game (Stryder aka Hip Hop Trooper, S1LVERBACK, Defacto Thezpian, Yummy)
Yummy, the latest addition to Rap Godz, is a character from Thug Life by Horseshoe Games. Thug Life was designed by to Latino natives of Los Angeles. They successfully funded on Kickstarter just a few weeks before our campaign started. You should check it out! Hopefully they will have another way for you to pre-order soon since the Kickstarter is already completed.
New Rap Track Milestones - Based on some of the feedback from people playing the game we want to add one more thing that will get people excited about building up their Money, Rap Skills, and Street Cred while playing Rap Godz. We will be adding some tokens that will give you perks for making it around the board faster than anyone else. You could earn an extra card, a few extra points on one of your resources, or a dice bonus that could help you win a beef. It's been on our mind for a while, but we've decided to officially add it to the game now.

We can do this but it's gonna take a lot of work! We're reaching out to all of our friends and family and artists and organizations that we think would want to support us. Lots of you are doing the same thing and we see it and it's fantastic!!!
We are still facing some pretty big obstacles. In the latest Low Player Count Podcast, they talk a little bit about Rap Godz (1:14:00) and our Kickstarter Campaign. They are excited about the game, but mentioned how many are overlooking us simply because of our Hip Hop theme. I think they might be right. It is outside of many people's comfort zone, but that's specifically why it's important that we get a chance to make this game.
For anyone who in on the fence about Rap Godz, we need you the most. We need you to take a chance on a unique fun game that's different from anything you've played before. We need you because many others aren't willing to even take a serious look at what we've been up to over the last year, trying to make this game the best it could be.
One of the best ways you can help of course is to spread the word! If you are on social media here is a Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook post for you to share!
We have an option for anyone who is supporting us to pre-order a copy of Rap Godz and also donate one to a youth organization. It is one of our favorite parts of this campaign so we decided to DOUBLE that gift for any new backer that decides to chose "Giving back to the hood" reward option OR anyone who UPGRADES to this reward option from a lower level pledge, so for another $30 you could be gifting TWO copies of Rap Godz to local youth organizations.
We are excited about being a company that has more of an impact than just creating games. Please help us do that by pledging or sharing this with organizations who you think might benefit.
One backer reward ("I am a Rap God") allows you to put yourself into Rap Godz as a Rapper Card that is a character choice by anyone who plays the game. Today we are featuring concept art for one of the backers who has already pledged at this level.
One such pledge was made by, Lloyd Dennis, co-founder of a prominent New Orleans based mentoring program for young men of color, The Silverback Society. We lovingly crafted a concept drawing for his Rapper Card that hopefully captures a tiny part of the amazing work their organization is doing in the community.
P.S. Lloyd Dennis is also our dad, so this was extra special for us.
